NSF Cheques

If a cheque is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) for any reason the Rods will assess an additional fee of $30. As well, the party involved must pay to the Rods the amount of funds owed by cash, debit card, credit card, money order, certified cheque.

For all subsequent payments and all subsequent registration years the party involved will no longer be allowed the privilege of writing a personal cheque to the Rods.

The party involved may appeal to the board to overturn the ban on personal cheques but the decision of the board shall be final.

Volunteer Fee

The club is run entirely by volunteers and we need help with a variety of ‘jobs’ – selling 50/50 tickets, game stick crew, clubhouse clean-up etc. Every family is required to volunteer a pre-determined number of hours over the season.

The volunteer fee is due at registration and if the family completes the requires hours, this will be refunded when the equipment is returned.

Equipment Use Fee

If a player requires football equipment to attend an off-season camp (i.e. Football Manitoba Youth Camp) there is a $100 charge – with $50 refunded when the equipment is returned in good and clean condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is Registration?

What are the Volunteer Requirements?

Each family pays a volunteer fee at time of registration, regardless of the number of players from that family.

EACH player’s family is responsible for completing a pre-determined number of volunteer hours per player.

The fee refund is based upon the entire hours; no partial refund if the hours are incomplete. We have lots of jobs to keep the program running, so we need lots of volunteers. All we ask is that time is spent assisting the club – holding sticks during the games, picking up garbage, sweeping the clubhouse floors etc. Easy work but much needed and appreciated! At the end of the season, if the total required volunteer service has been completed, then the volunteer fee is returned.
This is an easy way to help the club and spreads the work around.

How much is registration?

Cruncher, Atom, Peewee & Bantam: $320 + $100 volunteer fee

Jr & Sr Girls: $220 +$50 volunteer fee

Majors: $370 + $50 volunteer fee

In addition, there is a fee paid direct to Football Manitoba at the time of the online portion of the registration.

Is there funding support?

The Sport Manitoba KidSport program is available to assist with funding for players 17 years and under to qualified families. Go to Sport Manitoba / Kidsport for additional information. Applications are available at the May registration.
