Refund Policy

If a player quits, the full registration amount cannot be refunded. The volunteer fee is fully refundable up to the 1st regular season game.

If a player quits before getting equipment – the refund is 80% of the fee + Volunteer fee

If a player quits after getting equipment, but before July 1st – the refund is 60% of the fee + Volunteer fee

If a player quits after July 1 but before the first regular season game – the refund is 40% of the fee paid + Volunteer fee.

If the player quits after the first regular season game – no refund of fee / volunteer fee.[this applies whether the player actually played in the game or not].f

Volunteer Fee

The club is run entirely by volunteers and we need help with a variety of ‘jobs’ – selling game day 50/50 tickets, game stick crew, clubhouse clean-up, etc. Every family is required to volunteer 5 hours over the season.

The volunteer fee is due at registration and if the family completes the required hours, this will be refunded when the equipment is returned.

Equipment Use Fee

If a player requires football equipment to attend an off-season camp (i.e. Football Manitoba Youth Camp) there is a $100 charge – with $50 refunded when the equipment is returned in good and clean condition.

Funding support

The Sport Manitoba KidSports program is available to assist with funding for players 17 years and under to qualified families. Go to Sport Manitoba / Kidsports for additional information. Applications are done online.

NSF Cheques

If a cheque is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) for any reason the Rods will assess an additional fee of $30. As well, the party involved must pay to the Rods the amount of funds owed by cash, debit card, credit card, money order, certified cheque.

For all subsequent payments and all subsequent registration years the party involved will no longer be allowed the privilege of writing a personal cheque to the Rods.

The party involved may appeal to the board to overturn the ban on personal cheques but the decision of the board shall be final.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is Registration?

 What are the Volunteer Requirements?

Each family pays a volunteer fee at time of registration, regardless of the number of players from that family.

EACH player’s family is responsible for completing 5 volunteer hours per player.

The fee refund is based upon the entire hours; no partial refund if the hours are incomplete. The club is run entirely by volunteers and we have lots of jobs to keep the program running, so volunteers are always needed. All we ask is that time is spent assisting the club – holding sticks during the games, picking up garbage, sweeping the clubhouse floors, etc. Easy work but much needed and appreciated! At the end of the season, if the total required volunteer service has been completed, then the volunteer fee is returned.
This is an easy way to help the club and spreads the work around.

How much is registration?

Cruncher: $275 + $150 volunteer fee

Atom, Peewee & Bantam: $375 + $150 volunteer fee

Majors: $375 + $50 volunteer fee

In addition, there is a fee paid direct to Football Manitoba at the time of the online portion of the registration.

Is there funding support?
